Have you taught Daisy basic commands. Come, Stay, Sit, Heel? Love your dog, but control is the key. If she listen well and is control, you will have a lesser problem taking her out and socializing with other people or pets. You will want to also put her on a leash until she is familiarize with the scent around the park. Once she calms down, you can let her loose or play with other pets.
I remember teaching Coco and Lola basic command when I gotten them at 12 weeks. Sit was the easiest. Stay was the hardest! Both of them were around 8-9 month before I can get them to stay. I believe that comes with age just like children. They get distracted easily and are less patient.
