The icecream- just letting you gals know- was before this happened. Thankfully she didn't eat it.

She bit my daughter today. On the nose, when she went to listen to her belly. Thankfully she didn't bit her HARD, but did it enough to leave al ittle mark. That was it for me. She went to the vet got an x-ray and a pancreatitis test, also fluids.

I haven't heard back on the pancreatitis, they'll call me. I saw the xray. There WAS A tiny object in her intestine, she showed me to assure me it would pass through. However, her poop was severely backed up. And I'm talking, badly. It isn't hard- it's soft. They said yes, that pumpkin you were asking about? Give it to her.

The groomer when she took our puppy back for five minutes I'm completely certain she messed with her adrenal glands. Now when Chewie has to go potty, she tucks her tail under her butt. She's whining. A LOT. upset about the fluids. Her temp could not be taken- wouldn't allow her any where near the butt, and when they finally got it, she struggled. it was at 95 when pulled out and almost done, plus she doesn't act feverish or feel feverish. She whined the second she got out of the office. She's walking and not whining, but any time she might go, she won't. That I do NOT like.

So, her intestines are clear from any object. Her stomach? Maybe. they give it a very tiny chance. They can't tell really due to all the back up.

She's still in pain. tolerated her walk, though, and seemed to really enjoy it.

*as of this post, I got a call back. It DID come back slightly abnormal. They explained what that meant was that it could be a false positive from how extremely inflamed and backed up she is. It could indeed be a slight case and we caught it early.

Nothing by mouth, but that was after I gave her the teaspoon of pumpkin. Nothing by mouth for 12 hours. Fluid therapy every day; especially if no BM, and a fat free diet for the next week.

She is unhappy she can't see me. I have to go back down. I wanted my daughter to sit on the couch and watch her, but, she doesn't want any one but myself and to a lesser degree Dan. She WAS sleeping but I woke her up to put her in the crate like the vet said. However, I'm not locking her in it, so she hopped right out. Thanks again every body.
