First day or 2 in a new home with new ppl she may not eat a normal amount of food, not knowing the brand of food the prev. owner was feeding her, and having just a small bag of what she was eating may not be enough to transition her over to a new brand of food, she may have soft stools. Yes she is going to stick to you like glue. She is scared, confused, she needs time to gain trust in her new surroundings, to bond with your family, you are showing her love, comfort, care, so you are her protector now. As she gains trust in the other members of your family she will share herself with them. Give her a calm quiet place for now to eat.
