I had to take her to the Emergency vet, because she was drooling from the nose- later found out that itw as indeed from her throat- she was huffing and breathing hard, whining, and had her tail curled under her butt, which was also (her bum) curled down. My daughter claimed she screamed while on the phone with our vet, so he insisted she go immediately. She showed me that my daughter was correct 20 minutes into the ER visit.

She wouldn't move. won't eat, wouldn't drink anything other than the carrot juice I coaxed her with. WON'T EAT AT ALL STILL. Had the runs for two days in a row, during two BM's not the other ones. Only the ones where she had that Merriks food.

She's been refusing foods for days, and would ONLY eaqt what we were eating, which we were firm with. Okay, fine. Stand firm. Ground turkey or not, we can't have her running our house. She FINALLY ate kibble. I took her to the groomer for a little lady part and bum with top knot visit, and she came back looking like she does.

vet stated that she has an inflamed intestine, most likely due to stress, the medication flagyl, and having to switch up foods. She didn't say it was gastritis, and since I don't have the paperwork, I don't know what it was. Just started with an E. We are to rule out pancreatitis (which I grilled the woman on until she insisted my puppy was too young) or a blockage (even much less likely than the pancreatitis, according to her) and we are going to the vet in the next 24 hours to rule that out.

My puppy is on METHADONE. She had uncurled very briefly for the vet, but 10 minutes later had another bout, and we gave and asked for the injection. We were told to give her tramadol but it was in a pill form. I can't do that to her right now.

when I tried to feed her when she got home (I got puppy "Ice cream" down her and a few ounces of carrot juice) she whined and whined and ran. So, I put her on hubby's chest. She's stretched out under my shirt and comfortable.

I have had very painful gas in my time. I am not healthy, and have Crohns and Multiple Sclerosis. I know gas can be extremely painful. I'm scared for my puppy, I really, REALLY am. I feel terrible, and really want to understand how this happened. My puppies dr explained Merriks is suuuper rich and very wet. I know rich foods can cause pancreatitis. I hope to god my wanting her to eat wasn't the cause of this. Vet is certain the groomer visit pushed her over the edge. My husband was there the whole time, but it doesn't make this better. My best friend's brother- someone I adored just for the fact he was amazing, died suddenly from pancreatitis, and he was a healthy man. This doesn't help my mental state right now. Without a blood test, they can't rule this out. They assured me WE are different and often get septic.

Does any one have experience with this? She's comfortable, right now, and was able to look around at walmart, until a well meaning woman came up. she then scooted back down and snuggled.
