Gosh so sorry to hear this. But why was it necessary to remove dewclaws when your pup was what about six months old? Was there a medical issue that only removal could resolve? Normally dewclaws are removed when the puppy is very very young 3=5 days old.

Dew claw surgery on an older dog is quite frankly much more serious then when done on a very young puppy.
