oh we started off with my male who was 4 months old when he became part of our family sleeping in a crate but within a week he was in our bed. A year later we added his sisters who were 8 and 9 months old and yes again we tried the crate but they two ended up in our bed. I wouldn't have it any other way. They sleep all night and I do have stairs in case a bathroom break is needed but that is very rare. My husband is so concerned about how them falling off he just ordered a new platform bed to ensure their safety. Now that's a little crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way.
