If you can, avoid putting your hands in areas where he has the opportunity to bite you. At 10 weeks they don't know anything yet so you have to act as the puppy momma. Don't sit on the floor with the puppy. Sit on a stool that's a little elevated. If he bites, continue the yelp, and move your hands away and look away.

You can also try introducing to your puppy the "leave it" and "touch" command with clicker and his kibble. Those are two good ones to start with. "Leave it" teaches the pup some control. "Touch" teaches the pup to gently touch/kiss (without biting) your two fingers upon command. Each time puppy tries to bite, yelp, remove your hand out of his range, and look away. Puppies constantly want your attention. Only give him attention by looking at him if he's not biting you.
