Oops! I forgot to indicate that I did have my puppy at my bedside in his xpen. That might be part of why he slept that long.
These are the first dogs I've had who sleep in the bedroom. Our previous dogs (Airedale and cockapoo) preferred to sleep in the family room most of the time. Yorkies are often referred to as velcro dogs.
