I know she's kind of getting it now, but try putting her up on a chair or couch and you sit next to her so you don't have to bend over. This also helps for teaching down. Since they are so small, if you pull the treat down towards the ground, many times they just look at it instead of laying down. If you put them up on a chair, you can lower the treat lower than the seat and it will help them to get it.
