Default Biewer Yorkie vs Biewer Terrier

Hi JK.. I guess I can understand why it's important to call the "new" breed a Biewer Terrier rather than a Yorkie. They are so much like the party colored Yorkie that the actual Biewers can only be validated by a DNA test... unless there is AKC registry trail from 2014 when the AKC finally approved it as separate from the Yorkshire Terrier.

Either way, I love my little guy and he is the light of my life right now. So far he shows every good trait that the breeders directory says he should. He is completely fearless, loves everyone and everything, learns extremely quick, is stubborn at times but will finally agree with you (if he has to). As you can tell, I'm a wee bit partial to the little guy. He even had a great time, a couple of weeks ago, playing with my granddaughter's 150 lb. German Shepherd!
