I haven't had people be too intrusive with Piper, however, frequently when told they may pet her, people cup Piper's head in their hands---which Piper doesn't like at all (geez, who would?)! It's a hard one to anticipate, therefore difficult to prevent. I have learned to turn Pipe a bit to the side and I keep one hand on one side of her face; this helps somewhat. Wylie's Mom is so right, when you have a little cutie like yours, people kinda forget themselves and experience a sort of temporary puppy madness--bit irritating, but at least your little one is learning how to deal!
