I'm thankful to how nice people were to me getting a "puppy fix" before I had my own. I *never* came across a crabby person. Although, I never grabbed and petted without asking...but on the other hand if a pup came up to me I would probably pet!
In turn, I'm kind to people about my little ones. Life is short.
