Unfortunately, she is not that young. She is a retired breeder who had her last litter a couple months ago. She is also retired from the show ring. She is around 6 yrs old. I adopted her under contract terms of getting her spayed but I do not have to do it right away. My male has been a real gentleman, for the only thing he has marked is his bed and I also caught the female jumping in his bed and doing the same. I now have to crate the female (while I am not home) in the kitchen while my male still has free-run of the kitchen. I tried this a couple times and it has worked so far. I also went out for about a half hour to the store and I picked up his pet bed and removed the crate and allowed both of them free-range of the kitchen. That worked as well but do not like the idea of either one of them having to lay on a hard linoleum floor. The female is going to take some work so she gets use to the routine.
