In all the years I have had yorkies, if anyone would have ever scooped up my pups without asking permission, well, let's just say, after the reaction they would have gotten from me, they would have never done it to anyone else.
A neighbor of mine recently got a Morkie so tiny lol, looks 100% yorkie, they were walking their older yorkie and the Morkie, Miss Morkie was jumping at me wanting to be picked up, I know these ppl and their passed yorkies, I ASKED is it ok I pick her up. I wouldn't think of scooping up a pup that I didn't know. What's wrong with these ppl.
