Happy to hear she likes the balcony. Max froze outside the first 2 - 3 days, would not take a step. My father teased me that Max was going to be an indoor dog. Nope!
Keep taking little Daisy outside, even if you are carrying her. She will learn to love the outdoors.
The other funny thing about Max was that each new surface -- pavement, sidewalk, brick, grass -- had to be conquered. He did not like going in the grass for his entire first year. Seriously, he would even pee on the pavement. I sort of miss those days because he stayed cleaner. Not until we brought Teddy home did Max like grass.
