I discovered a sore like this on Gracie just this evening. It's on her back where her teeth and paws cannot reach. I shaved around it and cleaned it with Witch Hazel. Then applied some organic coconut oil for it's anti-bacterial properties. It wasn't bleeding, per se, but when I dabbed it with a cotton ball, a little fresh blood soaked into it. This is not like the hot spot she had a couple months ago. It's like something gouged her skin but I can't imagine what could have done that.
