Hi, I have been looking through the internet as well as local rescues and shelters for a up to 3 years old, 5 lbs male yorkie to adopt. I have been trying to get a companion for my mother's 3 1/2 year old 5 lbs yorkie who is spayed and scared of dogs bigger than her. I have lost count on how many applications I have sent to rescues and shelters, and how many rescues and shelters I have contacted. We get rejected just because we live in Puerto Rico and honestly I don't understand why.
