This was the bitch first litter and the dog had several litters - these were bred by a show breeder who developed her own line and when the breeder had a dog that wasn't going to be shown for what ever reason - these two were too small - they are sold as pets. The dog was retired and spayed - before we knew Luke had LP. This breeder even offered to buy him back and pay our insurance deductible which we declined - very honest breeder.
So far Luke is doing well after surgery 9 days out.
