With a baby that is too young to be separated from momma.....I would strongly recommend Royal Canin canned puppy mousse. I would feed that until baby is at LEAST 4 months old, then switch to Royal Canin Puppy kibble, which is still a puppy formula that they must have to develop to their best ability, then at a year old they can go to adult kibble.

I told her what you said and she is wondering why she would want to go from what the puppy is eating now which is Bil Jac and then go to the puppy mousse and then go back to dry food??? I know nothing about Bil Jac but I am wondering if it is a canned/wet food that is being fed to the puppy now???
