I would of course not give any more Nextag....I would keep the stuff out of the water....I have always found when I start ANYTHING new on my dogs, I do it one at a time....during vaccinations, they get nothing new but vaccinations. Adding flea/tick/heartworm meds, nothing else new within a couple of weeks of starting that...if they get sick, you know it was most likely the meds.

I spent hundreds of dollars, testing additives to my dogs water, to help keep teeth clean.....they were all expensive, none really worked. I STILL needed to have annual teeth cleanings, and I do not like giving anything "extra" to my dogs.....nothing ever seems to be as good/miraculous as advertised.....spending hundreds of dollars a year for additives to water to keep teeth cleaned was useless for the amount I was spending...still needed annual teeth cleanings.
The only "extra" I give is heartworm meds, period. I throw a little Dinovite into their food....didnt start doing that until they got older.....thought maybe it would add something I may be missing. I have fed Royal Canin since 1970's and they are healthy and in tip top shape. I feed the Mini Adult....I think it has a little Jack Russel terrier on the front, because ALL my dogs like that formula and I do not run a short order cafe here....unless there is a health issue, everyone eats the same thing and it works super!!!.......I dont see any change in my dogs with that Dinovite, and it may just be a huge expense I may stop giving....coats have always looked great, activity levels have always been great, attentive, interactive, enjoy life and our daily routines, and that stuff is REALLY expensive so I dont know if I need to continue giving that!

I dont give anything that is not absolutely necessary.....it seems your baby has some issues with "extras"....I personally would not put stuff in her water....I give distilled water to my babies because that is what WE drink, and I did not see any improvement in teeth with all that stuff I slipped into their water. I give the heartworm meds, that is all. Any "treats" I give are human food......those cheese fish crackers, vanilla wafers, Fruit Loops, graham crackers, animal cracker cookies, Gerber baby chicken stix, bits of cheese, etc.
