I do not remember what our vet told us at the time. It was about 4 years ago. The antibiotic seemed to help though. Max did not have any chest or nasal congestion, just a red and swollen throat. We don't know if the mulch inhalation was the starting point or if it exacerbated an existing condition.
If your boy continues to have problems, an internal medicine specialist might be helpful.
