At 16 and aging, adjustments in his lifestyle will have to be made in order to accommodate his limitations as he ages....do you have a yard he can play in? He will get all the exercise he needs in your own yard, and wont be exposed to rat feces that have made him sick. "Age Accommodations" are made for them as well as us when we age....doesnt mean we cant still enjoy life....just means we have brought the boundaries in a little closer, a little tighter....cant walk as far, cant jump as high, cant tolerate the heat/cold as much....but mine love laying in the sun warming themselves.....watching the birds flying all over the back yard....those birds had better NOT land within stretching distance to one of my little seniors! Just part of the loving charm of having one of these precious seniors...
