Scottie had a very sensitive stomach before he turned 1 yrs old. I also read that chicken is an ingredient many pups are allergic to (my personal theory is because of all the hormone injections in the chicken we eat these days). Anyway, whenever he got sick, I cooked him chicken breast and instead of rice I used ground up oatmeal and mixed it with 100% canned pure pumpkin. I was told by my dog trainer at that time that oatmeal was better than rice. He had IBS for over a week once and I had him on that mash for that whole week.

I was also given the same advice to buy the smaller 4-5 lb dog food bags. Apparently they become stale after a while even though it's not yet past the expiration date. With the smaller bags, I'm able to rotate flavours from the same kibble company after eat bag.

It's so worrisome whenever they get soft poop! How's Geno doing this week? Getting all better?
