Thanks everyone! JadeD and canana, your initial situations are what I was worried about. I'm not worried about my first because he loves other dogs but I'm worried that my second will be sad if I get a third. But I'm glad to hear your situations both worked out! I'm still thinking about it. If I do get a third it sounds like it's best to get it before their second birthday so I have about a year haha. My first turned 1 on March 30 and my second will be 1 On May 1. They are such polar opposites, I would like to get one in between (the first is a sturdy 7-pounder that's outgoing and friendly and loves everyone equally... the second is a shy 3-pounder that is truly a one person dog.) I also rushed into getting both of them (I got the first one two weeks after my 15 year old Yorkie passed) , I'd like to take more time when selecting the third though most likely I'll use the same breeder.
