Mayzie is on Royal Canin as well--mini puppy 33. She loves it. She does not have a gas problem. In fact I have never smelled or heard her fart--I just assumed it was because she is a princess....
Anyway, someone on here and I am sorry I don't remember who said giving cottage cheese a few times a week would stop/help the gas. Mayzie loves cottage cheese. So whether that is why she doesn't have gas or she just tolerates the food is beyond me. I thought it was good advice and seemed healthy enough and works well for us.
