Oh, and Mario was about a year old when we got him. He is food motivated, and learned around 15 commands in the first few months, and now knows around 26-30 commands as well as he trained enough to pass a public access test and has passed his good citizen test.
From what I see around here, yorkie a can be trained fairly easily to do almost anything. House training is where the challenge lies, but some even take to that very easily. And, Older dogs can be a pleasure to train too!!
