I don't have any hands-on experience with the puppy apt, but thought I'd chime in with my thoughts
I think puppies like to have their potty area away from their clean/sleeping/eating area. With the potty area directly adjacent their sleeping area, they might find it not to their liking?
Maybe this "apartment" naming-concept is kind of a gimmick more geared towards humans than functionality of dogs and their nature. But then again, what human wants a toilet next to their bed without a
solid wall around it? lol
lilgidget's setup sounds spot on and seems like the best way to go
