Well, brave person that I am, and considering I only spent about $5 on the Black t-shirt; I rolled it up and wrapped some rubber bands around it and placed into the bleach/water filled sink. I set the timer for 10 min (otherwise in the morning it would be empty), the shirt turned brown. After taking off the rubber bands, it is tie-dyed! Hurray! My son thought it was COOL!
