Intact dogs are known as "bitches" for a very good reason...that is what they are, in any species! They will always fight for dominance in the pack...you always have an Alpha dog....she runs the show, and when dogs start coming into heat, you have MAJOR issues....it is actually a dangerous situation for all the dogs. You can NEVER let your guard down, trust NO ONE....you will end up with a submissive dog savaged by the pack....or vicious fights between in heat females....and once it has started and been established in THEIR minds, you can not change that.... How old did you say that intact female is??? If you are thinking about starting a breeding program, this is just one more issue you must be thoroughly knowledgable about or you will have a "dog fighting ring" going on, and you WILL have dogs killed.
