I never had a male before. only many,many females, so grateful I joined YT and discovered this about neutered dogs. I have read if the penis stays out to long it can get dry and difficult to get it back in and has to be lucubrated, I PRAY this never happens with Cody, I would be scared senseless, would have him tucked under my arm with flapping penis and headed to my vet to put it back where it belongs. I would be to scared of hurting him or IT by trying get it back where it belongs.
