You did the rite things in taking the toys away & in getting her checked out buy the vet rite away. Now you need to be dissecting her poops to see if you can find that piece of nylabone, to be sure it comes out of her. Keep an eye out for vomiting & diarrhea or bloody stools witch can mean either a blockage OR a tear somewhere in her digestive tract. IF she has any of the symptoms that I mentioned, get her back to the vet ASAP. FYI, they make puppy nylabones that are soft & rubbery BUT you have to closely monitor their time with those as they can chew off chunks of the rubbery ones & that can cause a blockage as well. |
