I would be most concerned/attentive to the issue of restlessness. Is this new with him? How old is this baby? I have babies that love to sleep with their heads up on a pillow or the side of the basket/bed, but they are not restless and unsettled....THAT would be my concern. SOMETHING is bothering him....it may be pain, nausea, fearfullness, etc., especially if this is a new and different pattern for him. Is he bloated? Did he have a change in diet? Did he eat something in the yard? There are millions of possibilities....you have to narrow it down to realistic possibilities, then start a process of elimination. Tomorrow is Monday, if you can not pin point, accurately what the issue is, he needs to have a vet visit....some people may recommend to "wait and just watch him closely"....what that means is watch and see if it gets worse, which if it is going to do, I can PROMISE you, it will be in the middle of the night, requiring an expensive emergency vet visit, usually with vets you do not know and they dont really know your dog! I am a "controlled crash freak"....I like to call the shots and get out ahead of emergencies....I would be at my own vet tomorrow if I could not
definitively resolve the issue, not just a guess or a "wait and see" stance.
