My male yorkie undergoes cataract surgery in one eye on Thursday. He will be 17 YO on May 5th. He is mostly deaf but otherwise in excellent health. Never-the-less, I am a bit nervous. Just thought I'd like a place where I could go for advice if complications develop. I don't think he is going to tolerate the cone very well. That is my biggest dread at this point. But maybe improved eyesight will compensate. So, hopefully all will go very well and the most I will have to do is report good news.
