I would too. My Brandi (RIP) was 7 yrs old when I got her as a rescue. Within 2 months of having her, she had to have all but 4 teeth pulled. When she was 11, she had to have her remaining 4 teeth pulled.

Her teeth were horrendous and I can't imagine the pain she was in. Before they could even pull her teeth, she had an infection in her mouth that was treated with antibiotics. As long as she is in good health and you have the necessary bloodwork that shows she is okay to be anesthetized, I would do it. You don't know if she is in any pain.
