Well that momma and her babies were American Bulldogs. They are a lot sturdier than English Bulldogs and have a lot fewer health problems. Here is a pic of the Momma, Candy and one of a couple of her pups when they were about 6 weeks old...they were so much fun! But a lot of work too! She raised 8 babies from a litter of 9 - 1 was stillborn. But she had a bad round with calcium defeciency and mastitis in one breast...we got her thru it but had to really watch her. |
