I'm not too sure about it growing with her. They say the buddy belts will, overtime, stretch out and loosen up a small amount to the point where you may have to go one notch tighter than you did before. I can't imagine it stretching out to become a size larger or something like that though. Just a small amount. As has been mentioned, just sell the outgrown harness if your puppy outgrows it.
Definitely get the buddy belt though. You'll love it. I love mine. I even find that my dogs actually walk better with it on compared to other harnesses I've had. I guess they must've just never really liked having something around their neck. The design of the buddy belt is so simple but it works so good. There are very few products that have impressed me as much as the buddy belt.
