I start out with Cosequin, then go to GlycoFlex if it gets to the point where the Cosequin is not working. I start with one cap that I open and sprinkle on food...they dont seem to even notice it so it cant tast bad....then after a couple of years, if one does not work, I will do one in the morning and one in the evening....then after a couple more years, if necessary, I go to the Glyco-Flex III. It is super and works fabulously. You could actually start with GlycoFlex I, then advance to II, then go up to III if you preferred....I have used Cosequin for sooooo many years....my seniors tolerate it so well, dont even seem to notice it in their food..... You can really see how well it works....I ran out one time and in the 5 days it took for my order to come in the mail, after 3 days, my senior could not/would not get up and cross the room....went and bought some at PetCo.....dog was up and fine by the next evening.....now I keep a bottle or a bag ahead at all times.
