Hope Harley likes the little plush toys! In the beginning, I bought Scottie a new toy every week or two, each one being a different type of toy for variety (plush, squeaky, chew, tug, treat dispensing etc), until he had about 8 to 10 toys. I've read that 8 to 10 toys is a good number to prevent them from chewing on your belongings. Reason I looked into this was because I was initially scared when I heard my friend's Yorkie chewed up her computer wires, furniture, brand name shoes, brand name purses etc - yikes!!
The number of toys worked for us - Scottie has never chewed on anything else but his own toys!
