That is NOT too much food for a healthy, thriving baby!!! Unless you are using a soup spoon! That baby should be easily digesting 1/4 of a teaspoon, even 1/4 tablespoon, every 2 hours.....that is just a dab of food! I have had tiny 16 week old babies eat 1cc/per 1oz body weight on several occasions....a 1 pound baby would/should easily be able to tolerate 10-16cc of baby food or puppy mush, every 6 hours, which is a lot larger amount than you are giving this 1 lb baby....you are giving much smaller amounts at more frequent intervals, which is great for this tiny baby.... and in addition, you are having to give this baby water by syringe????!!!! You need to get a hold of that breeder for help before you loose this enfant!!!! This is way too much for you to address all alone!!!
