All my guys talk and I encourage it !
I have an adult male (7yo) who can tell me exactly what he wants, and I get it right (most times). Who's training who ! My adult Female is coming along very well, Sneakers (M/7yo) is teaching her a lot better than I can.

I'm assuming that we're talking about general verbalizations above...
But when they are doing their "job", like keeping an eye/ear/nose out for my protection and territorial violations, I encourage them to really get with it.

I count very heavily on their very reliable notifications.
