My oldest son just called me from school. He got cut from the baseball team. He has played varisty baseball for 3 years, he's a senior this year and even though he is my son is, he is the teams best first baseman. The HS has a new varsity baseball coach and he said from the beginning that he has no problem cutting seniors from the team and they should expect that he will. Well the long and short is that he decided that he would rather have kids on the team that he can work with for more than one season. The coach cut just about all the seniors from the team. I am so pissed right now I feel like marching down to the school and doing something about this. However, I am sure that my son will take this in a more adult way then I want to right now. I have never heard of such a thing. What a great way to say goodbye to the seniors and showing the schools appreciation. Thanks for letting me vent.
