Turns out she gained weight she's 3 pounds now. She is about 12 weeks old. She goes to the vet on the 22nd for her third round of shots

Has anyone else experienced this?
Scottie has been fed on a schedule since he was 5 months. I noticed when he was between 8 to 10 months, his eating was quite irregular. I read that during their growth spurts they sometimes might eat more, sometimes might eat less. If they're healthy and not sick, they'll eat when they're hungry. It's fine. So when Scottie skips his breakfast, I take it away, and feed him again during his regular dinner hour. He also eats less when he's having a lazy week when it's constantly raining outside...

Having said all that... your pup is still 12 weeks. Probably want to just continue free feeding for now. She's a growing girl and gotta make sure she's getting enough nutrients when she's hungry. As long as she's gaining weight and not losing weight, she should be fine
