FYI, Roxie is in hospital right now, she stopped eating, diarrhea. They tested for parvo, which is negative, thank God!, But she is one sick little girl. Praying she will feel better. We brought her in yesterday and by evening she was home and feeling better, but then she took a turn in middle of night, so I brought her in at 7AM. Don't know what is going on! | How old is she? I would say 9 wks may be too young to expect her to catch on. Teddy was 12 weeks when we started training him and we didn't have pads all over the floor but in the box ONLY. If your puppy is 12+ weeks, then I'd agree that you're confusing her by having pads in more than one spot. When the puppy is an adult dog, you wouldn't want her picking where to go if the box is the right place so ensure that you are consistently training her to go to the box only. Hope that helps. |
