The thing is that I want to give a good home to a yorkie that is in need of one. There are so many dogs that are neglected and mistreated, I just want to be able to help one and him a good home. If Nala wasn't so afraid of bigger yorkies than her I would have adopted one of them already, but I have to guarantee that she will be safe and feel safe.
My other problem is that I have found male yorkies with the characteristics I am looking for in rescues and shelters in the US, but since I live in Puerto Rico they are rejecting my applications even though I am willing to fly over and pick up the puppy. It has been really discouraging.
