There is nothing in the ordinance to prevent buyers from seeking out breeders like yourself. By the way, advocacy for the humane treatment of animals in Boston started over 100 years ago so this is certainly nothing new. Prohibiting the sales of puppies in pet stores or parking lots within the city seems like a positive decision to condemn the abhorrent treatment of animals used for breeding in puppy mills. I realize for some the humane and compassionate treatment of animals takes a back seat to profits but it shouldn't be tolerated by civilized society. I think reputable breeders need to continue to set themselves apart from the practices found in puppy mills.
