My yorkie Marley has three thick scabs under her armpit. They are sensitive to touch. I applied coconut oil to them and also fed her some. Previously she had dry skin all over and would have scabs of dry skin. They have went away recently but now I'm seeing that scab under her armpit and I am very concerned. I feed her a grain free diet...the blue wilderness salmon food (I believe it's something like that) and she does not each much table food. She doesn't itch very often but I do sometimes catch her scratching at her face. What could these scabs be? I don't feel like they are an allergy.
