Sounds like you're experiencing all that it is to love a Yorkie for the first time. I, too, am a first time Yorkie 'owner' and have decided that one cannot be too careful or too protective of this little dolls. Yorkies are notoriously difficult to housetrain and after a year, I'd pretty much decided Piper was never going to get it and then one day, voila, she started letting me know she had to go out! But I'm glad I purchased a steam cleaner as accidents still happen. There is nothing I won't do for Piper--in spite her 'flaws' (none I can thing of right now), Piper is perfect and perfect for me always and forever! My life is better everyday because of her...and everyday I love her more. I see you are a kindred spirit in this regard.
