Personally, I try to get them to nurse on mom if you can and since your little one will nurse, I would tube a lesser amount and then put them with mom while also weighing three times a day to ensure they are gaining. The more he or she nurses on mom, the more her milk should come in. You might get some fenugreek too which helps moms milk come in but mostly the puppy should stimulate her. The more he seems to be nursing, the more I would cut back on tube feeding. Is mom taking care of them otherwise?
