Does anyone else have a problem with their Yorkie choking and gagging? Scooter will be fine then all of a sudden he will start to make a half choking half coughing sound. He doesn't do this after eating but there is no set time that he does this. It happens sometimes only once a day but other times it's several times a day. He's healthy and has a good appetite. I had a Shih Tzu that use to do this and the vet said her trachea was short and if she happened to lie with her neck on her paws or otherwise put pressure on her trachea that would happen. Any ideas?
