We got him at 10 weeks old on Oct 9th, 2015. From day one I have taken him out every 2 to 2 1/2 hours. He sleeps with us and has never had an accident, but in the first 3 months I was up maybe twice a night. Now for the most part he sleeps from 10:00 at night to 5:30 to 6 am without waking me... (yes he does let me know he needs to go potty)
Once in a while he will wake me to get a drink and go potty. So I know he can hold his bladder for quite awhile. And he will let us know if we are sitting in the living room with either a tiny woof or jump up and tap my leg. I ask do you have to go potty, and he will do his happy dance. Dave or I are always with him outside, I don't trust the owls, hawks, eagles and coyotes that live around upHe always gets a treat when he goes outside. But at least once a week he has an accident - sometimes 2 x a week. The little stinker knows it too!. We call it the guilty look at many of you know. I'm just hoping he grows out of this.
